NFIB Minnesota PAC Endorses Dwight Dorau for State Senate District 47
We are pleased to share that NFIB MN PAC has endorsed Dwight's candidacy for the special election in Minnesota Senate District 47. NFIB is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization founded in 1943. They are the nation’s largest advocacy organization representing small and independent businesses, with over 10,000 members across Minnesota. The past two legislative sessions have been difficult for small businesses, with some of the biggest tax increases and mandates ever imposed in our state. Dwight's responses to their Candidate Questionnaire demonstrated a strong commitment to Main Street. NFIB is grateful to see Dwight's support for small business priorities.

Dorau Details Voter-Focused Strategy In State Senate Race
The outcome of the District 47 special election could determine which party controls the Minnesota Senate. The chamber is currently split 33-32 in favor of the DFL Party, but with vacancies in both District 47 and District 29, either party could claim a majority after Nov. 4. District 29, left open after the July death of Republican Sen. Bruce Anderson, leans strongly Republican, leaving Woodbury as the more competitive contest.
