meet DWIGHT

Dwight is a native Minnesotan and the proud product of Minnesota’s public education system. He attended Finlayson High School, Brainerd Community College, and the University of Minnesota - Duluth. Currently, Dwight is a teacher at Johnson High School in St. Paul as the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor for the Junior ROTC program, teaching students to be citizens of character and dedicated to serving their communities. He is also a three-time Air Force Commander and 26-year retired colonel. His career included leading a flying squadron in combat missions over Afghanistan.

Dwight’s servant leadership and passion for education and critical infrastructure in Minnesota has inspired him to run for office, aiming to fight and deliver for the residents of Senate District 47.

FATHER, VETERAN, TEACHER

My #1 job is dad and positive role model to my children.

I have proven leadership skills as a 3-time Air Force Commander and 26-year retired Colonel, including leading a flying squadron in combat missions over Afghanistan.

As a St Paul Public School Junior ROTC Instructor, I am developing inner-city students into citizens of character, dedicated to serving their community and country. I understand the crucial importance of public education in Minnesota, It's our greatest legacy.
